The Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability Specialist (EHS&S) will be responsible for running the safety program for Eurest Services and Eurest (foodservices) units within a specified function or geography of the Clients portfolio. The support provided will include but not be limited to:  training; site visits/ inspections; implementation of policies and procedures; safety performance measurement; communication; development, review and update of safety documents. This will be accomplished through routine meetings, conference calls, and on site visits 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree and two years of college required or equivalent combination of education and experience.    


  • Bachelor degree in EHS or closely related field.
  • Safety certifications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors.
  • Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills  
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%.
  • Ability to work well with internal and external business partners, including the Compass Sectors, Compass human resources professionals, Compass benefits professionals, TPAs and external defense counsel.
