Sodexo Corporate Services North America is seeking an experienced Executive Chef for a premier upscale client at Cargill's World Headquarters in Wayzata, MN.

This Executive Chef will be a hands-on leader of the culinary experience who is passionate about health, wellness and sustainability; laser focused, creative and imaginative with a discriminatory eye for detail and excellent business acumen.


Success in this role and in the relationship will require you to:  

  • Keeping menu fresh and innovative on a consistent basis
  • Efficiently implement and run Sodexo programs
  • An eye for high end restaurant quality food
  • A strong focus in customer service
  • Building and maintaining client relationship 


The ideal candidate has:

  • a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies;
  • High focus on safety and a zero accident work environment
  • Great training skills and clear understanding importance of it
  • Experience in coaching and developing staff

Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a medium to large account. This position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and develops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu, implements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes production levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new chefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions, may train other chefs outside account. May cook selected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks reporting to this position.


Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
