Position Title: Facilities Technician II (Housekeeping)

Department/Location: Corporate Services/Bismarck, ND

Position Purpose: This position provides housekeeping services for the headquarters offices and associated buildings. Work hours will also range from 5:30AM through 6:00PM, working an eight-hour shift. A typical day will be 5:30AM - 2:00PM, 6:00AM - 2:30PM, or 8:30AM - 5:00PM.

Qualifications: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED) and two years of housekeeping/custodial experience. The incumbent must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, and must possess basic computer skills and a valid driver's license. Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching below shoulder level, and pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds; and occasional sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, crawling, and use of keyboard/computer. The incumbent must be able to operate a motor vehicle. This position requires the ability to perform close work, good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. The incumbent works frequently in conditions of extreme heat/cold, and occasionally around dirt/dust, fumes, chemicals, noise, and poor ventilation.
